Rookie(s) of the YearMatt Forte & Steve Slaton (Cosa Nostra) Forte, picked 63rd overall, was the leading rookie scorer with 64 fantasy points in 11 starts.  Slaton, selected 135th, finished a close second with 53 fantasy points in his 7 starts.  Also receiving consideration were RB Chris Johnson (Mountain Magic) with 42 points in 9 starts and Tim Hightower (Mountain Magic/Cheeseheads from Hell) 24 points from 7 appearences.

Late Round Steal - Steve Slaton  & Tim Hightower - Both selected in the 12th round, the rookie RB's were two of the few bright spots in an otherwise dismal back half of the draft. The other players taken in round 12 were Tony Scheffler, JaMarcus Russell, Tony Gonzalez, Jeremy Shockey, Shayne Graham, Ted Ginn Jr.,  Warrick Dunn, Indianapolis Defense, Travaris Jackson and Jacob Hester

First Round Draft BricksTom Brady (Mountain Magic) & Steven Jackson (Puppet Meat Reloaded) While not as disastrous as last year's first round, no one put up anywhere close to the numbers expected from a #1 pick.  While Brady's selection couldn't be helped, Jackson earned his spot by putting up 31 fantasy points in his 7 starts - 23 of those coming in one game.

Free Agent pick up of the Year - Kurt Warner (Threat Level Orange/Cosa Nostra) Picked up prior to week #1 by Threat Level Orange, Warner is currently the 2nd highest scoring player in the league overall, and scored 88 fantasy points in his 8 starts - all of which came after being traded.

Waste of Space Award - Congratulations to Pierre Thomas (Flaming Liberals), Ricky Williams (Gamblers) and JaMarcus Russell (FTC)
All 3 will share this year's Chuck Evans Memorial Award, given annually to the player(s) who are drafted by a DFFL team, spend the entire year on the roster, but never make it into the starting lineup.

Blindfold AwardMatt Schaub (Threat Level Orange) wins this year's award -  given annually to the player who makes the most out of their single start. Schaub came off the bench in week #8 and put up 15 fantasy points - 3 TD's and 280 passing yards.  Finishing second was Gamblers QB Matt Cassell, who only played during week #7 and managed to toss 3 TD passes - good for 12 fantasy points

Award for the Most Awards Award - This award is given annually to the team(s) who appear most often in the Bogus Move of the Week column - Mountain Magic runs away with this year's award with a league record 7 BMOTW mentions this season.  Other teams receiving votes were Gamblers (4 mentions) Puppet Meat (3), Threat Level Orange (2) Mean Machines (2), Lambeau's Leap (2), Cosa Nostra (1) and Axis of Weasel (1)
